Apr 1-Face Time: This is the other free app on the ipod (automatically comes on the ipod) the app says you can use for ipad, ipod touch, mac (apple products mainly) You can call the other device (by persons email in your contact) then it gives you the options to face time that person (it rings like a phone) & you can chat live by video (you can switch camera & show them stuff etc...) you just have to be in WiFi zone (both people using)
Apr 1-Kindle Fire -Ipod Touch: For those of you that have these here is a tip: look for the FREE app (Text Plus) -you sign up & get a phone #. Once you get your # you can use this to text for free. Yes it's totally free to use this app (US/Canada) I'm not sure about worldwide you would have to look that up. You just need WiFi zone or at your home. This has been a life saver for us for M-she has a cell but it's a limit amount each month so she has very little texting she can do (compared to what kids text)-so with this she can text her heart out & cost us nothing! It's wonderful ! This is a great alternative if you don't want to use your cell phone min. or don't have a lot of min. or even a cell phone. There is also another app for ipod that you can video chat between ipods for free-I will have M give me that name of app. for another note post later :) {This app works so that you can text from your fire or ipod to any texting device-so say you use the kindle fire you could text me on my cell phone free cost to you}
